Crankshaft Repairs
Deyang Marine Engineering can provide a full range of equipment for orbital machining,
superfinishing and polishing journals in the range 125mm to 1100mm in diameter. Full quality in accordance with OEM tolerances is assured. As an example we can conduct crankshaft journals 0.15mm/metre straightness to shaft axis, 0.02mm roundness and parallel with a surface finish better than 0.2μm Ra.

• Axis tolerances achieved by electronically controlled level systems.        

• Diameter controlled by calibrated micrometer which measured and recorded.   

• Flatness controlled by engineers' blue.

• Crack detection via Magnetic Particle Inspection system. 

• Hardness checked by using portable electronic devices.

Flange Facing Repairs
Deyang Marine Engineering can provide mobile equipment for flange facing and milling.
For diameters of up to 5 meters:

• Compliant tolerances achieved by electronically controlled level systems.     

Line Boring
Deyang Marine Engineering can provide line boring services by using mobile equipment. The range capacity of our line boring equipment can cover sizes of 50mm to 2000mm in diameter.
For diameters of up to 10000mm long:

• Alignment to OEM standards set and checked by Laser/Optical equipment.  

• Bore dimensions to OEM standards.  

Liner Landing Repairs
Deyang Marine Engineering can provide liner landing repair by machining/grinding.

• The range of our equipment can cover diameters of up to 150mm.

• Full quality to OEM design tolerances.

• We utilize alignment techniques to ensure seal faces and bores are machine squared and parallel to the axis of the crankshaft.

• We design, manufacture and fit cast iron and steel make-up sleeves in the event that bores and faces are seriously damaged in order to re-establish OEM design sizes.
